A little something for St.Patrick's Day
ORIGINAL IRISH CREAM
This tastes like Baileys, but better!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup heavy cream or half & half
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup Irish whiskey
1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a blender, combine cream, sweetened
condensed milk, Irish whiskey, instant coffee,
chocolate syrup, vanilla extract, and almond
extract. Blend on high for 20 to 30 seconds.
Store in a tightly sealed container in the
fridge. Shake well before serving.
GREEN GROG
It's sweet, it's sour, it's tasty and it packs a real punch!
INGREDIENTS:
2 cans frozen limeade concentrate
2 cans frozen lemonade concentrate
2 (2 liter) bottles lemon-lime flavored
carbonated beverage, chilled
1 (750 milliliter) bottle rum, chilled
2 quarts lime sherbet
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a large pot, combine limeade, lemonade
and lemon-lime soda. Stir in rum (add more
to taste if desired.) Mix in the lime sherbet.
